DEEPSTEP COLLECTIVE: INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY ~ FARM ~ TRAINING INSTITUTE ~ CAMPGROUND ~ RECREATION VENUE
The Deepstep Collective is under development. We are in the development stages and are seeking committed partners to form the core development circle. Currently, it is 7.5 acres of land and there is one access road to the interior of the land and clearing has been done for an initial home/campsite. The off-grid cabins/camping shelters that were onsite have been relocated but there is still one available that can be relocated back onsite. This is an emerging project with much 'groundwork' to be done. There are currently no utilities of any kind (think rustic camping). I no longer reside onsite. I currently reside about 2 hours away in South Carolina.
The Deepstep Collective is designed to be a living training center. I envision creating a training institute to serve the training needs of individuals preparing for sustainability-based development projects worldwide. The Training Institute will focus on providing training on how to develop affordable alternatives to sustainable, ecologically friendly, and economically attainable communities. Within the Farm and Training Institute, our specific focus will be on social tech sustainability transformational skills, construction, agriculture and light husbandry, alternative energy, clean water, transportation, and micro-commerce.
The Deepstep Collective is designed as a prototype of the Convertible Community concept and to serve as a micro-community model. It will be comprised of the members of a development team and their families, but in general, it will be made up of individuals who:

- b) share a common intention of spiritual, physical, and emotional growth and well-being,
- c) are concerned and committed to focusing on the physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of sustainability, and
- d) are committed to the development of internal commerce that will fund sustainability.
